In Oregon, the state is split between two different parties, the “Orange” and the “Blue”. The “Orange” are the traditional conservative Republicans, and the “Blue” are the Democrats. During the elections, the Republicans lost the state to Donald Trump, but the Democrats took it back. As a result, Oregonians have a lot more choices than ever. Oregon’s two elections are held on two different dates. In 2016, the elections were held on November 7th, so if you wanted to vote for the Republicans, you would vote on Tuesday of that week.
